It is important to us to protect your data that may be collected on the occasion of your visit to www.klpt.de. You can visit our site at any time without providing any personal information.

Your personal data will only be collected and, if necessary, stored, and then only for the purpose of answering your inquiry and/or processing your order, if you contact us voluntarily, e.g. via the contact form, or if you register for our newsletter.

The legal provisions for the protection of your data can be found in the DSGVO, which comes into force on May 25, 2018, in the Federal Data Protection Act and in the Telemedia Act.

The responsible party in terms of data protection regulations is Klappt. GmbH, Schlaunstr. 8, 48143 Münster, represented by the managing directors Karoline Niermann and Mark Bommer.

1. SERVER DATA COLLECTION

When you visit our site, various server statistics are automatically stored, which your browser transmits to the server. These are:

Host name of the accessing computer (IP address, is stored anonymously during a visit, not anonymously during an order for evidence purposes and to prevent abuse)
Date of the visit
Date of last login
URLs visited
Browser
With the exception of the IP address in the case of an order, this data cannot be assigned to specific persons. These data are not combined with other data sources.

2. COOKIES

A) SESSION COOKIES

The Internet pages use so-called cookies in several places. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. A cookie is a data record generated by your web server that is sent to the web browser you are using and stored in a cookie file on your local computer. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. The cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit and a maximum retention time of 30 days. You can exclude the acceptance of cookies in your web browser. However, this may possibly lead to impairments in functionality.

B) GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google Analytics also uses. "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. Information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Please note that these settings only apply to www.klpt.de and the browser used in each case. If you delete the cookies in your browser history, you must click the link again to object to the use of data when you call up our site again. The same applies if you call up the page with a different browser.

3. REGISTRATION FUNCTION

When you create a customer account on our website, we collect the password you created. Furthermore, we collect certain personal data as mandatory information. We need these in order to be able to process your respective purchases. The mandatory data are your name, your e-mail address and, in the context of the ordering process, the address data, which you can optionally save for further orders. We also ask you to confirm that you are of age, that you have read the current terms and conditions and privacy policy and that you have been informed about the newsletter and the existing right to unsubscribe before completing each order. The other information is provided by you voluntarily and failure to provide it will have no effect. The data will be stored by us permanently. You have the right to request information and to object to your data stored by us at any time (see also section 6).

For the creation and management of your customer account, we use the provider Shopify.

Data protection at Shopify Inc: The data collected via our webshop, the provider shopify, is processed by Shopify International Ltd. based in Ireland. In the course of processing, this data may also be transferred to other countries, including Canada and the USA. According to the current case law of the ECJ of July 16, 2020, this data transfer does not generally comply with European data protection requirements. We therefore advise you to inform yourself here about the data protection law explanations of the provider Shopify.

By using our website, you expressly declare that you have read and understood the data protection information and the supplementary information on DSGVO and data processing of Shopify and that you are aware of the data protection risk of using this webshop.

4. USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

If you have provided us with personal data, we use it to respond to your inquiries, to process contracts concluded with you and for technical administration. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transferred if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing (e.g. transport companies), for accounting purposes (e.g. bank and payment service providers) or if you have given your prior consent. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future (see also item 6).

In the context of a contact request, we collect and store the name and e-mail address, as well as optionally the telephone number, for the purpose of answering your request. For deletion and information, see section 6 below.

If you send us greetings, comments and photos via Instagram or Facebook and we agree to a link, your greetings, comments or photos will be visible on our homepage via the link and will not be stored separately by us.

5. NEWSLETTER

With our newsletter we inform you regularly about current trends, new product developments and current discount promotions. If you want to receive the offered newsletter, we need from you, in addition to ticking the appropriate option in the order process or in our newsletter form a valid email address. We will then send you a confirmation email with which you can verify your email address and the desire to receive the newsletter. We store the IP address to verify your registration, both when you register and when you activate the confirmation link. In addition, we store the date and time of registration, the e-mail address provided and the date and time of activation of the link in the confirmation e-mail for legally secure proof of your registration.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on a link at the end of each newsletter without incurring any transmission costs other than those according to the prime rates. You can also send an e-mail with the corresponding request to unsubscribe from the mailing list to us at hallo@klpt.de . In the context of the DS-GVO applicable as of 25.05.2018, we would also like to point out that you can unsubscribe from the newsletter.

6. COMMUNICATION BY MAIL

You have the option of contacting us at hallo@klpt.de with an electronic message. These messages are stored in the email system using a folder structure. As deletion periods for emails 12 months are stored in the system. Exceptions to this are permissible in accordance with the principles of clause 7, sentence 3.

7. RIGHT TO INFORMATION AND RIGHT OF OBJECTION

You have the right at any time to free information about the personal data we have stored about you. If we are not legally obligated to store this data, you can also request that it be deleted. Stored personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to their storage and if knowledge of them is no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which they were stored, e.g. after a request has been completed, or if their storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. The deletion is replaced by a blocking according to the legal requirements, e.g. , if deletion is not permissible due to legal or contractual retention obligations. We would like to point out that with this data protection notice we have informed you about the use of Google Analytics and Shopify systems, which do not comply with European data protection requirements. By using our website or our store, you declare that you have read and understood all data protection notices. You therefore use these systems at your own risk. Please contact us at the e-mail address below if you purchase our products and do not wish to be registered in these systems.

You also have the right to contact the competent supervisory authority. Please address your inquiry or complaint to the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestr. 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, in person, in writing, by telephone or at poststelle@ldi.nrw.de.

8. OTHER

We store your personal data in compliance with the applicable legal standards, sparingly and by using all technical and organizational possibilities so that they are not accessible to third parties. When communicating by e-mail, we cannot guarantee complete data security, so we recommend that you send confidential information by post.
